St Ireney Monastery is under development. We have a 15 acre (6 hectare) piece of beautiful rural property in Kent County, New Brunswick, that we are developing for our community of celibate men and women, as well as for married couples. We have several Metokia – little mission outposts of our monastic community in various locations throughout Canada, that minister to people from various immigrant communities (notably Georgian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, and Latin American).

NB: Please note that within Canada, our monastery is incorporated as “The Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church in Canada and the Americas” – we are a federal not-for-profit corporation, and are recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a registered charity. In addition, our clergy are licenced by their Provincial governments to solemnize matrimony, meaning that we are a fully-recognized denomination by the Canadian government at all levels.
